SOS on beach

What kind of help do you want?

If you're having trouble figuring out the right sequence of steps or menu options for your particular receiver model in order to do something such as change a satellite name or add a channel, you won't find that answer here. There are so many receivers out there! Check your receiver manual, check your receiver's manufacturer's web site, search online for a support forum for your receiver, or ask the vendor who sold you that receiver.

If you don't live in the US or Canada and you want to know which channels are available to you, that answer isn't here either. The best solution is to contact your nearest satellite equipment dealer. Your local dealer will know exactly what's available and what it'll take to get it. If for some reason that's impractical, you can poke around with LyngSat Maps to get a rough idea of which satellite transponders are pointed at you. (If you're outside a satellite's coverage footprint, you can't receive its signals.)

If you don't know where to begin or what equipment you'll need, try the Getting Started section.

If you've got a FTA system but you're having problems with it, go straight to Troubleshooting.

If you want to learn more about a particular word or term, visit the Glossary.

You could try the Frequently Asked Questions page, even if it's just to see what other people ask about.

If the lists seem hard to understand, there's a line-by-line explanation at How to Read These Lists.

If absolutely none of those options fit, and you want to ask a specific question and wait for an answer, go to the Contact page.
